The Washington Environmental Council is deeply committed to conservation of our town’s natural world- or mission is to monitor, to advocate and to protect our open space, clean air and water.  We also promote responsible uses of energy and other dwindling resources.  Over the past 35 years we have led the way on challenges large and small and have worked effectively with local governments, area land trusts and other organizations dedicated to conservation and the environment.
